What does Mirza do?

We empower working parents and the employers who support them with tools that strengthen their families, finances, and careers. We provide care subsidies, help you understand the benefits you’re entitled to and offer a range of resources and knowledge to help you as a working parent.

What is a childcare subsidy

An amount of money each month that your employer offers as a benefit to help offset the cost of childcare. You may use your subsidy to cover any eligible expenses.

What is an eligible expense

Your employer will determine qualifying expenses, which typically include daycare, nannies, in-home childcare, babysitters, or family, friends & neighbor care.

How do I qualify for a subsidy? 

Your employer is offering this subsidy to cover the costs of children ages 0-5. If you have children in that age range, you qualify!

How do you determine the childcare subsidy amount?

We work with your employer to determine the right amount of subsidy for their employees. We take into consideration workforce locations, average costs of care, and your childcare expenses. 

What can I expect from the subsidy application? 

You’ll apply for the subsidy through our platform. All you’ll need to sign up is to connect your HR account and the bank account of your choice where you’d like to receive your subsidy. In the application process we verify your identity and present your subsidy terms and conditions. After reviewing the terms and getting approved, you should receive your first disbursement the following month.

What is the disbursement period?

This is the period of time after you’ve signed up for a subsidy where you’ll receive money at the end of each month to help you cover childcare costs.

What happens if I leave during the disbursement period?

If you leave your company during the disbursement period, you will not receive any more disbursements after your last day of employment.

How do I keep track of my disbursements/subsidy?

Our dashboard will have all the information about your subsidy including history of all transactions, disbursement dates, and the terms of your subsidy.
