What is the Kentucky EECAP match program?
Under the Employee Child Care Assistance Partnership (EECAP) the state will match employer direct contributions to an employee’s qualifying child care provider. This allows an employer to double the size of an employee benefit and helps reduce the employee’s out-of-pocket child care costs. Match percentages are tiered based on employee’s income.
$15 million has been appropriated for the program, and will run from July 1 2023, to June 30 2024.
Eligibility:
Must be a licensed child care provider in KY All STARS
An employee is not eligible to participate if their family is eligible for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
